Triad Goodwill ROC Groundbreaking
The Event
🌱 What better day to break ground than Earth Day?
Last Wednesday, Samet was proud to join Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina, Inc. (Triad Goodwill) to celebrate the groundbreaking of their new Regional Operations Center (ROC) in Greensboro, NC — a facility that will power their mission for the next 30 years.
This project is sustainability in action. Triad Goodwill already diverts 17.4+ million pounds of product from landfills each year, recycles hundreds of thousands of pounds of metal, cardboard, and e-waste, and reinvests 85 cents of every dollar earned back into workforce development and community programs. The new ROC will consolidate their operations under one roof, amplifying that impact even further.
The facility will also expand Triad Goodwill’s skills training programs, giving even more individuals a pathway to meaningful, sustainable careers.
With a $186.5 million economic impact across five counties and a mission built on the power of work, Triad Goodwill is one of Central North Carolina’s most vital community anchors. We are honored to help build the next chapter.
Happy Earth Day to a partner who lives these values every single day!
